Research and Writing Initiatives

The advanced practice role is constantly evolving to meet the changing healthcare needs. As medical advancements continue to expand, so does the scope of practice for advanced practice providers. These healthcare professionals, such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants, are taking on more responsibilities and assuming a greater role in patient care. They are now able to diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and even perform certain procedures. This shift in the advanced practice role is driven by the need for increased access to healthcare and the shortage of primary care physicians. As a result, advanced practice providers are playing a vital role in bridging this gap and ensuring that patients receive quality care in a timely manner. The evolving nature of the advanced practice role highlights the importance of ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in healthcare.
